The Tom McCall Forum lost $60,000 last year. When an annual event loses that much money, something needs to happen. The event, however, needs to be tweaked - not eliminated. Not only did last year lose money, but it lost integrity. Candidates who actually agree to come to Forest Grove and then subsequently to Portland do not debate anymore.
Reasons to give After reading last issue of The Pacific Index, I was happy that there were multiple articles about giving to Pacific University. I am a member of the Student Giving Committee and I have given to Pacific this year. I have seen Pacific as my home for the last four years and I love it here.
