At this point in the forum I was about finished with the comments that started, "My main thing," "That happened to me," "I live," and "Well I think," and I was ready to hear what future sophomore, junior and seniors of Pacific University were going to do to make this campus a better place.

What happened to consideration for the student population as a whole?

Pride in the university was not completely void during the evening, as almost all the freshman agreed that their first year experience was positive overall. Orientation, pod leaders, ambassadors and resident assistants were all given great remarks, but this was only after being prompted by Creighton's question to the attendees of what they thought about their first year.

I think it is sad that students on campus were given the chance to represent their class and the student side of the university to top administrators and our president, and that the opportunity was basically wasted. The university is here to educate us; it revolves around the students, so in turn I think events like the Phil Forum are the best times to show our true colors.
