It has been one year since the Lincoln Park project was approved. Ten years have passed since Pacific last hosted a track and field meet. Over forty years have gone by since a meet was held on the Pacific campus. All of these events culminated in the Pacific Four-Way on Friday, March 7.
Caitlyn Tateishi ran fast enough to qualify for the Northwest Conference meet in the 3,000 meter steeple chase, but didn't jump high enough to avoid being seen on YouTube the next day. Tateishi, who finished second in the race with a time of 12.:28.80, had quite the spill during the competition.

It's about time. We have a track facility. A nice, multi-million dollar stadium and artificial track and field on our own campus. And it's awesome. But I'm not satisfied. I will say that I was elated to see our own track athletes competing last Friday, because up until that point I had no proof that any of them were actually competing on the team.
