Boxer was scheduled to be handed over to the winner of the Boxer quiz on Wednesday. The Gammas and Dean Croshere had possession of the prized statue until last Saturday, when it was apparently taken from Croshere.

Or was it?

Here's what we know: Croshere has been trying to promote Boxer spirt by keeping our mascot after he graduated and parading him around the country like a prized animal.

After the recent alleged theft of Boxer, we don't know where it is.

It was speculated that the Pi Kappa Rho were the culprits, but they claim to have nothing to do with the stolen Boxer scandal.

So this all begs the question: is this just another attempt to promote Boxer spirit?

Maybe some unknown party has Boxer right now, and is taking embarrassing photos of people riding Boxer wearing nothing but a cowboy hat.

We're not sure of who took Boxer and where it is, but we are sure of one thing: Boxer spirit is making a comeback.

The fact that someone cares enough to steal Boxer, or even stage the event means that Boxer is still important to someone.

However, it seems likely that the people who are worried if Boxer will ever return are few and far between.
