On August 18, 2006 the then-pregnant Karen Mossbarger received a phone call no one wants to get. Mossbarger was on a retreat with a group of Pacific students in California when she was informed that the house she shared with her husband Andrew and three sons had burned down overnight.

PUCC mulls over climate declaration

Forest Grove soup kitchen opens its doors to the needy

With the organizational leadership skills of one, the practical kitchen know-how of another, and the eagerness of many volunteers, Forest Grove's only soup kitchen has just opened its doors. The legend of Boxer lives on. Only days before the Gamma Sigma fraternity planned to pass on the iconic statue through a special trivia contest, the idol was stolen, revitalizing an age-old tradition at Pacific University. Although no person and/or organization has officially claimed responsibility as of yet, multiple students suspect the rival Pi Kappa Rho fraternity as the culprit.
