Soup kitchen opens in Forest Grove
Pacific's Circle K club, along with the Anthropology/Sociology Club, has established the first ever soup kitchen in Forest Grove.
The soup kitchen will be operating on a monthly basis and food will be served on a first come, first serve basis.
The first meal at the new Forest Grove United Church of Christ Community Soup Kitchen was served Feb. 24.

Pacific student elected Regional Association Director
Pacific student Brad Forkner was elected to be a Regional Associate Director for the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH).
He will be the representative of a region that includes colleges and universities in California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Hawaii, Alaska and British Columbia.
Forkner is a Sociology and Art major at Pacific. He will assume his position at the national conference in May 2008.
Lecture will be about Amphibian population declines
As a part of the Biology Seminar Series, Barbara Han will give a lecture on "Amphibian population declines: cause and consequence of infectious pathogens?"
The seminar will occur March 6 and will begin at 4:30 p.m. in Strain 121.
Han is a graduate student in the Zoology program at Oregon State University. Her studies focus, in part, on a fungal pathogen currently affecting amphibians.
The series is sponsored by the Biology Club and PUCC.
